WHOLESOME.

for the young & young-at-heart,

for the laidback & the hustlers

EDITOR'S NOTE

Five months have passed since I have been here at Wholesome Magazine - and what an adventure that has been! This fulfilling, yet creative endeavour that never fails to fill me with so much purpose and joy.

A month ago, the team and I sat down to discuss Wholesome Magazine and where it was headed. Since then, we have decided to completely revamp the website to breathe new life into it. We added more features to achieve a more minimalistic and fresh look to let the beauty of our stories shine through, whilst never losing sight of our main purpose at Wholesome.

To encourage, inspire and shed light on important issues happening in our little red dot. We aspire to give voice to your stories and let them be heard. There’s a little something for everyone to takeaway. Be it a lesson learnt, or simply gaining a new perspective.

As Helen Keller once said: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” I resonate with her words more than ever today. We hope that our stories will move you to work towards shared humanity this year, in 2019.

Nourish your souls, spirit and mind. Be wholesome.

Cheers,

Cassandra is the Editor at Wholesome.

If you’re unsure of who Cassandra is, look around for the one that is busy perfecting her Instagram stories instead of eating the food right in front of her.

Her love for writing began at the awkward age of 12, when she started journalling her thoughts on her blogspot account.

In her free time, you can spot her at a cafe with a Caramel Macchiato and her journal, coming up with new story ideas.

Cherie is the Visual Editor at Wholesome.

She spends most of her time designing, editing and creating content related to veganism, which is a lifestyle she adopts.

Her reason for adopting the vegan lifestyle stems from her undivided love for animals.

Jane is the Designer at Wholesome.

She's an Aunty soul trapped in a young girl's body. She loves jamming with some classic oldies' music in her bedroom and she prefers her traditional Kopi over atas coffee.

She also loves to match her outfits with a similar colour scheme!

Melissa is the Sub-Editor at Wholesome.

She's a bundle of creative energy commonly heard before she is seen.

She believes in the triune power of good conversation, brilliant writing and bold ideas. She also likes anything glittery.
